Riding Academy Program Prices, Terms and Conditions
Thank you for choosing AJA Equine Riding Academy to help you learn how to ride horses. We are excited to work with you! Please take a moment to give us your information and complete our rider release form and training agreement.

The Client and The Company agree as follows:
The Services
AJA Equine will provide client with access to one riding lesson per week, and one unmounted horsemanship class per month. The riding lessons will either be a 30 minute private, 45 minute semi-private of 2 or 50 minute group of 3 or more. AJA Equine LLC Riding School will be closed 5 weeks per year to give the lesson horses a break, allow students to compete at horse shows, to run special events, and even to give riding instructors a break. The weeks that are off will be communicated via the TeamReach calendar and available on our website.
Riders will be automatically grouped together with riders of similar ability and level. This is paramount to our barn culture and philosophy of creating a community that encourages camaraderie, friendship and support. We feel this leads to higher quality riding, lessons, and just plain more fun.
Beginner riders will start with a 30 minute private lesson until their instructor recommends they are ready to join an appropriate group lesson.
Clients will receive access to a 30 minute goal setting session every six months.
Client Requirements
Client must show up on time.
Client must be wearing proper riding attire- boots with heels and riding breeches
Client must be coachable, positive, and have a good attitude!

3. Compensation and Payment Terms
Our monthly tuition price is based on the annual value. Client will put a credit or debit card on file, and it will be automatically charged $250 tuition per month. Charges will begin on the first day of enrollment and continue every month thereafter. If client needs to change the credit card on file, please call 651-497-7827 and leave the new credit- card number, expiration date, and CVC on the voicemail.
Scheduling
Client will receive a dedicated time and a day of the week where there will be an appropriate school horse and with a group of riders with similar ability reserved each week.
No make up lessons on school horses are allowed unless the lesson is canceled by AJA Equine,If you own or lease a horse one lesson per month may be rescheduled.
Occasions where weather, road conditions, or air quality is too severe to safely ask students to be on site even for unmounted lessons, zoom or video review lessons will be offered. Academy tuition remains the same during these times.
AJA Equine is closed annually for Thanksgiving week, as well as from December 23rd through January 2nd. Academy tuition remains the same during these times. As well as three other weeks through the year (posted on teamreach) to give the lesson horses a break. Monthly tuition is still due in full when a student misses their lessons. The best way to get the most value out of the program is to make it a priority and a commitment not to miss your dedicated lesson time(s)
If client would like to make a long-term change to their dedicated lesson time, they may do so by emailing ajaequestrian@gmail.com or calling or texting 651-497-7827 and leaving a voicemail.
5. Cancellation.
During the first 30 days of subscription, the rider can cancel without any penalty. However after the first thirty day period, riders can only cancel their subscriptions during two windows during the year without penalty. They may cancel between March 1- March 15, or between September 1- September 15. We incur very serious year round expenses to maintain our lesson horses and we are looking for students who can make a commitment to our program similar to the commitment we make to our students. A $250 cancellation fee will be assessed for anyone who cancels outside of these two windows. If you would like to cancel your subscription, please send an email to ajaequestrian@gmail.com.
6. Additional Services
All services outside the scope of this agreement that are requested by the client and which the company agrees to perform will be automatically charged to the credit/debit card on file or invoiced at the time of service with the following rates. Below are the rates for additional services outside of this agreement.
Additional Group or Private Lesson: $75
7. No Guarantee
The company does not warrant or guarantee any specific level of performance or results. The results of your riding program are largely based on the efforts of the student.

Client agrees to respect working hours by phone from Tuesday-Saturday 9am-6pm. Emails and TeamReach may be sent anytime.
9. Payment
Clients will be invoiced every month and will remit payment upon the invoice due date. If automatic payment is more convenient please put a card on file and it will be automatically charged on the first day of enrollment for the amount agreed in this agreement and continuing every 30 days thereafter.
By their signatures below, the parties hereby understand and agree to all terms and conditions of this agreement.
